Marco Vidal, a module executive for Grand Circle Travel travelling with a organisation of 34 Americans, was on the 19th building of the Crown Plaza Santiago road residence when the upheaval struck.

Cynthia Iocono, from Linwood, Pennsylvania, pronounced she initial thought the upheaval was a train.
